Objective: This course is intended to give first responders the knowledge (in certain situations) to neutralize an attack, control the attacker, and maintain control until Law Enforcement arrives. The course will enforce the mind set of staying calm and controlling yourself and the situation to the best of your ability. No technique is perfect and all situations are different. This course not intended, or able, to cover all of the variables involved in a violent encounter.
Attire and Equipment:
Water Bottle
Towel
Sweat Pants, BDU / 5.11 Style Pants, Shorts
Shirt (long of short sleeve)
No street shoes (wrestling shoes, sock feet, or bare feet)

- 1500-1600 Mount Defense / Escape
- 1600-1700 Punch Block Series / Guard Get up
