Jeremy Hatfield is a Corporal with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. Corporal Hatfield has been a certified law enforcement officer in the state of West Virginia for 12 years. Prior to law enforcement he served in the United states Marine Corps and conducted several deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Corporal Hatfield is also an adjunct instructor at Panthera Training Center, where he teaches driving and warfare tactics to a number of agencies including the United States Armed Forces. At the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, he is a Firearms and Tactics instructor, TASER instructor, LASER instructor (Law Enforcement Active Shooter Emergency Response), Driving Tactics instructor and Less-lethal instructor. He has also been an operator on the SWAT Team for over nine years. Before moving to his current position at the DEA Task Force, he served as a Field Training Officer for the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Division. Corporal Hatfield enjoys instructing classes and bringing new ideas to others attention. His main objective to give out as much information as possible to make the job of policing safer for all persons involved.
